The small resentment you have been carrying grows not because the original incident was so large, but because you keep finding new evidence for the same complaint. Each time the person does the thing again, or fails to do the other thing, the resentment gets another meal. What started as annoyance at a single moment has become a running inventory of all the ways this person consistently disappoints you. The resentment feeds on pattern recognition, and you have become very good at seeing the pattern. The question is not whether you are right about what you are seeing, but whether being right is worth what it costs you to keep the list.
