Virgo

The boundary that someone keeps pushing against is teaching you something your thoughts have not caught up to yet. Your stomach tightens before the phone call. Your shoulders rise during the conversation. Your sleep changes on the nights after you have said yes when the right answer was no. The contradiction Whitman celebrates has a limit, and that limit lives in your ribs and your jaw and the space between your shoulder blades. What feels like inconsistency from the outside is actually your system learning to recognize what costs too much, even when you cannot yet explain why.
