The work question you keep avoiding has an answer you already carry, but naming it means admitting what you have been protecting yourself from knowing. You have been moving around the edges of this choice for weeks, gathering information that confirms what your gut told you on day one. The delay is not about needing more time to think. It is about needing more time to be ready for what thinking clearly will cost you. Some decisions ask you to see something about your situation that changes how you see everything else, and once you look directly, you cannot look away.
