The thing you keep doing without thinking about it is the thing that will show you what you actually believe about how the world works. You cannot see it in one instance, only across many, the way a path through woods only becomes visible when you step back far enough to see where all your individual footsteps have been leading. The repetition is not the trap. The repetition is the revealer, showing you which direction your instincts have been quietly choosing all along.
