The plan that made sense six months ago assumed everyone would show up the way they said they would, and now you are redesigning around the ways people actually are. This is not failure or poor judgment on your part. It is what happens when you build something real with real people over real time. The original version was drawn in clean lines because you could not yet see where the complications would come from. What you have now is messier and more expensive and probably closer to something that will actually work, because it accounts for the spaces between what people promise and what they can deliver.
