Libra

A promise that has become difficult to keep is usually one you made when you thought keeping it would cost less than it does. The weight shifted somewhere between the making and the keeping, and now you are carrying something heavier than what you agreed to carry. What looked like a simple exchange has revealed itself to be more complicated, with costs you did not see at the beginning. The question is not whether you are obligated to honor what you said, but whether the version of the promise that exists now is the same one you made then.
