The projects that stall after the initial burst are usually the ones worth finishing, not the ones worth abandoning. What felt like momentum at the start was often just the high of beginning something new, and what feels like stalling now is the ordinary work of making something real. You have been treating the absence of excitement as evidence that you picked the wrong thing, when it is actually evidence that you have moved past the easy part. The question is not whether you still feel the original spark, but whether you still believe the thing is worth building. Most worthwhile work happens in the long middle, where no one is watching and the only reward is the work itself.
