The project that started with such clear momentum has stalled because you began carrying it like something that could be lost rather than something that wanted to be built. What felt like protection turned into a kind of smothering attention, checking and rechecking the same few pieces until they stopped moving forward under the pressure of your care. You can feel the difference between tending something and gripping it, even if you cannot name exactly when the grip replaced the tending. The way back is not through pushing harder but through remembering that some things grow better when you step back and let them breathe.
