Plans change not because you failed to see clearly six months ago, but because you saw exactly what you needed to see then and this is what you need to see now. The version of yourself who made that original plan was working with different information, carrying different concerns, measuring against different fears. What feels like inconsistency is actually a more honest response to how life keeps adding rooms to itself. The plan that matters is not the one that stays the same, but the one that can hold more of what you have learned about what you actually need.
