The creative idea that has no obvious place yet is not asking you to find its home right now. It is asking you to let it live with you for a while, the way you might let a friend stay on your couch without setting a move-out date. You keep trying to solve where it belongs before you have spent enough time understanding what it actually is. The idea needs to show you its shape through small experiments, through conversations that seem unrelated, through the way it changes when you are not looking directly at it.
