Plans change because you change, and the changing happens so slowly you miss it until you look back. What you thought you wanted six months ago was real wanting, but it was wanting from a different version of yourself. The person who made that plan had different information about what mattered and what was possible. You have been learning things since then that shift not just what you want to do, but what you think you deserve to ask for. The plan that looks different now looks different because you have grown into someone who can see other options.
