The loneliness you are feeling this week does not match anything happening in your calendar or your relationships, which makes it harder to locate. You have been around enough folks, had enough good conversations, answered enough texts, and yet the feeling persists in the spaces between those things. This arrives when you notice how much of what you carry into every room was given to you by someone who has no idea they are still with you. You cannot share that fact with anyone currently in the room, and naming it would not help anyway.
