The signal your body has been sending is not the emergency you keep treating it as or the nothing you keep pretending it is. It is information that arrived months ago, delivered in a frequency you have trained yourself not to hear because hearing it would require you to change something you are not ready to change. You have been negotiating with it, postponing it, explaining it away, but the signal does not negotiate back. What your body knows about what needs to shift has already been decided by your body, not by the part of you that makes plans about bodies.
