Sometimes you know what someone needs to hear months before they are able to hear it. The knowing sits in you like a stone you cannot put down, and you watch them circle closer to the same conclusion by their own slower route. You could save them time, but saving time is not the same as saving them the work of getting there themselves. The hardest part is not the waiting. The hardest part is how obvious the path looks from where you are standing, and how necessary it is that they find it without your map.
