Aquarius

Sometimes you know the ending of a conversation three sentences in, but you have to sit through the whole thing anyway because the other person needs to think it through out loud. You watch them arrive at conclusions you reached weeks ago, and the strangest part is how being ahead leaves you unable to help them get there faster. The knowing feels less like wisdom and more like waiting in a room where the clock runs differently. What looks like patience from the outside is actually the discipline of letting someone else's timing matter more than your own certainty.
