The conversation may have lasted ten minutes, but the feeling it opened has been with you for months, surfacing at odd moments when you are trying to focus on something else entirely. The year ahead asks whether you are ready to trust what your gut knew immediately, or whether you need more evidence than the way your whole system reacted when those words landed.
