Your Year of the Open Hand. This is the year you stop confusing release with loss, and the difference becomes a kind of personal freedom you did not know you were missing. The relationship you stayed with, tended, refused to abandon even when the easier path was right there, that one blooms quietly and with real color this spring. You were not passive in that tending. You were choosing, again and again, to hold something that deserved to be held. By late summer, a second thing you thought you had let go returns in changed form, ready now. And the version of you who held on, and the version who finally opened your hands, turn out to be the same person. Both knew what they were doing. The year rewards that knowing.
